Meet your Educator…

Hi, I’m Kiri

I qualified in Beauty Therapy in 2005, and one way or another, I’ve always kept my hand in. The beauty industry has never just been a job for me, it’s something I’ve genuinely loved for as long as I can remember.

I actually have my mum to thank for that. She was a massage therapist in one of the most beautiful resorts in Belize, and I would sometimes spend the day there with her, sitting quietly, watching the therapists work, taking in the calm atmosphere. I was only young, but I remember thinking, this is what I want to do one day. Not just work somewhere like that… but create something of my own.

Fast forward to now, and while I’m not surrounded by rainforest, I am living my dream, running my own salon in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked in a busy beauty salon, on a cruise ship, from home, rented a room, and now I own my own space. Each step has shaped me, not just in skill, but in standards. I am passionate about what I do, but I’m also calm and grounded in it. I care deeply about doing things properly, safely and professionally.

Becoming an Educator has been a life-long goal of mine. Teaching feels like such a natural next step, being able to share not just techniques, but mindset, standards and confidence. I’m genuinely so excited to support you as you begin (or grow) your journey in the Nail and Beauty Industry.

My Mission

Tzunun Educate exists to raise standards in the nail and beauty industry through calm, supportive and professional education. I teach treatments that protect nail and lash health, build genuine confidence, and equip students with the knowledge and skills to grow a career they’re truly proud of.
